Dr. Ravinder Pal Singh is a well-experienced liver, kidney and multi-visceral transplant, HPB & GI surgeon in India with exceptional donor and recipient surgery safety records. He is one of the few surgeons in India to be involved in swap liver transplant, combined liver and kidney transplant, posterior sectoral liver transplant and liver transplant in situs inversus donor or recipient.   • Youngest person in Indian history during my time to clear M.Ch GI Surgery Entrance examination and obtain the degree of M.Ch
  • I was the only person in Indian history till my time to clear the M.Ch GI surgery examination of all 4 universities which conduct the superspeciality course of M.Ch GI & HPB Surgery.
  • Presented world largest series of co-occurrence of Gall Bladder cancer with tuberculosis.
  • Presented the world largest series of Gall Bladder cancer resection.
  • Proposed new classification of Incidental Gall Bladder cancer in IHPBA, Argentina, 2010.
  • I was one of the most prominent members of the team involved in Living Related Liver Transplant in two of the biggest LRLT programs of the world.
  • Actively involved in the team establishing and successfully starting Liver Transplant programs at 3 medical institutes in India; Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Vasant Kunj, Delhi; Post Graduate Institute (PGI), Kolkata and Artemis Health Sciences, Gurgaon.
  • Currently as the Director and HOD, successfully established the Department of Liver / Kidney Transplant Program & Gastro Sciences.
  • Established the first centre in North-West Delhi to perform Cadaveric and Living related Liver transplant and Renal transplant.
  • Established the first center in Delhi where same operative team did a cadaveric liver transplant and two kidney transplants over two days.

  • I have started satellite OPD’s clinic for liver and kidney disorders at Sylhet, Bangladesh in 2015 and at Yangoon, Myanmar in 2016 to help liver and kidney patients in two adjacent countries.
  • Initiated an NGO named CORD (Campaign on Organ Donation) at Press Club of India, on 18th, July, 2015. This NGO works for promoting organ donation awareness in India by conducting regular camps and media events so that general public can realise the need for organ donation and how they could potentially help others after their deaths.

  • Jointly started the concept of VIRTUAL HOSPITAL by me and Dr Tanudeep Kaur for managing COVID patients at home.
  • Real time tracking and management of more than 3000 COVID patients.
  • Managed more than 3000 patients actively and more than 7000 patients indirectly; in addition we take pride in touching the lives of more than 40,000 family members of the patients we treated during COVID.

  • Actively participated in not only giving medicine to COVID patients but also in getting oxygen cylinders, medicine, as well as food and nutrition at home for those who did not have any support system to make food.
  • All COVID work done as a charity by the money generated during registering patients, whereinn after registration all the consultations for the next 2 months related to COVID were done absolutely free of cost and most of the money so generated was utilized to help many others in need.
  • Donated money to the family of few doctors who succumbed to this COVID.
